I am a gadget Junkie! Well, only gadgets I THINK I need.
Developing websites and domain names is what I do. I specialize in SEO as well as adsense and affiliate program monetization. Working with adwords is also a daily task. After 10 years of adwords I am a little tired of updating my keywords. It is a necessary evil!
I have several e-commerce sites one of which has been featured on CBS’ “The Early Show” as well as in many magazines and on several websites.
The idea for this blog came along a while back. One of my programmers and I were hanging out in his office and looking over a few hundred of my domains. Primarily we were looking to start a new blog and out of the blue Fedex shows up with 2 new imacs for the showroom.
One of the domain names we were thinking about developing was Mac-user.com. Obviously, a larger force was tapping us on the shoulder so we figured we’d start a blog on Mac-user.com that day (or the next) and it just kept getting put off until today which is a comical year and a half later!
I work on a Mac/PC basically every day. I don’t have a particular title such as programmer/designer/developer/engineer etc.
I use my Mac(s) for, among other things, organizing/optimizing product images for the web, home shows, commercials, print ads, video editing etc. And of course killing time watching videos or reading.
Bill, one of my programmers, has been working on Macs forever or possibly longer. He is primarily a LAMP guy. He is also big into pod-casting and blogging.
Bill will no doubt be posting here from time to time.
That’s about all the boring stuff I can think of. I can only hope my posts will be more interesting/insightful or this blog is going to fail miserably!
